Join the GoplexMC staff team

GoplexMC holds the number one spot for freedom of speech and freedom of building — which is exactly why some governments would rather it did not exist. Our staff keep the server fair and safe without ever policing what people think, say or build.

What staff do

  • Stop griefing of claimed land (the wilderness is fair game; warzones during a war are too).
  • Catch cheating and hacking — X-ray, fly, kill aura — and exploits such as duping.
  • Act fast on doxxing, threats, harassment and hate speech, and on anything illegal.
  • Deal with spam, advertising and lag machines.
  • Use evidence before punishment, the lightest action that works, and keep records.

What staff never do

  • Punish opinions, politics or controversial (but lawful) speech.
  • Remove or roll back lawful builds because someone found them offensive.
  • Censor anyone because a government, the media or a crowd demands it.
  • Favour friends, punish enemies, or use OpenInv, vanish, rollbacks or the border-control exemption for themselves.

How it works

  1. Sign in with your game account and tell us how to reach you on Discord.
  2. Answer the questions — ethics, free speech, judgement calls and the staff tools. Save a draft any time.
  3. Submit. The staff team reads every answer and looks at your history on the network.
  4. Staff vote and discuss, then the owner or an administrator decides. You will see the outcome on My applications.

One application at a time. If an application is not successful you can try again after a short cooldown.
